Volunteer

Volunteer, employee engagement and community engagement opportunities exist within all our services.

The wonderful outcomes being achieved at St Francis Social Services just would not be possible if it wasn’t for the support of community members who volunteer their skills, passion, time and welcoming personalities to join us in recognising the dignity, equality, human rights and humanity of all people.

We greatly value the opportunity to work with volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. You can volunteer in a range of areas at all three of our services. Volunteers help us to provide tuition, community lunches, research, mentoring, driving supervision, photography, assistance with events and Christmas drives, client services and admin to name a few.

Volunteers bring to us their skills and experience as retirees, professionals, students and graduates.   They are from all walks of life with one common desire to make our community a welcoming one for all.

St Francis Social Services lists volunteer opportunities at our various services below and sometimes through volunteering networks. We also occasionally call out for volunteers through Facebook and twitter, so make sure you follow these pages too.
