Community lunches bring together people to share a meal to extend community connections and social networks for people seeking asylum who may be at risk of social isolation.
Community Lunches are held once a month to bring together our diverse communities. Client Chefs working on the House of Welcome Catering Program (hyper) take a leadership role in the kitchen and cook up a storm for lunch. Client Chefs, under the mentorship of the Head Chef, are supported to independently create dishes from the House of Welcome Catering menu.
